Ecovena Thermium - Natural Gas / Hydronic Heating

Most older multi-residential buildings in Canada use Hydronic heating, where water is heated by a boiler and circulated through piping and radiators throughout the structure.

Modern boilers can be very efficient at converting natural gas fuel to heat, but most low voltage or pneumatic control systems do not provide granular control or environmental feedback. As well, almost all installed systems have failed componentry, with frozen valves or non functional actuators.

Most in-use Hydronic Valves vary greatly in layout and condition

Adding Ecovena Thermium monitoring and management allows valve-level control and feedback. Units can be temperature limited and/or throttled to reduce consumption, and setbacks can be specified to reduce usage during evenings and weekends of commercial buildings.

Fuel Savings of 25-40% are typical, as well as the commensurate savings in Greenhouse Gas Emissions (GHG) and building carbon footprint.
